Jobs for Tennessee Graduates
 
Launched in Williamson County in 1997, Jobs for Tennessee Graduates (JTG) was created in cooperation with WorkForce Essentials and the local School System. Since then the program, an affiliate of the national Jobs for Americas Graduates program, has expanded into Cheatham, Houston, and Robertson Counties. The program helps selected high school students graduate and better prepares them for the realities of the workplace.

As our American economy shifts from industrial to service and high technology businesses, students can not afford to drop out of school. Many high school graduates also need help in making a successful transition into the job market.

JTG helps high school students:

Further education and training
Start on a solid career path
 
I think the JTG program is very helpful. It's a wonderful program that offers a lot of skills that many people need to know in order to succeed in the workforce and I think every school should offer this program!
