Through the local Career Centers, WorkForce Essentials assists unemployed individuals with the successful transition into the local workforce.* We addresses all aspects of that transition by incorporating training, counseling, state of the art resources, supportive services, and employment opportunities with individually assigned career management specialists.

The Center offers training that enhances present job skill levels as well as develop new skills. Individuals can improve their chances of finding viable employment through the following services:

Key assessment tools are used to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of an individual's skills, interests, values, and academics in order to attain employment goals.

Personalized training opportunities in a variety of career fields.

Use of a state-of-the-art Resource Center that provides individuals with the materials to help develop and support career goals. The Resource Center is stocked with books, videos, and other career-related materials for you to use at your own pace in a comfortable setting. The Resource Center also has computers loaded with career software applications, on-line services, word processing, and more! All the computers are hooked up to a printer enabling you to maintain hard copies of your research material.

Individually assigned career counselors offer assistance in finding employment.

 
Very friendly, helpful staff. There is a wonderful staff in the Gallatin office-very caring and truly concerned about your well-being. You do not feel rushed and they will spend as much time needed with you--This makes you feel very special, it gives you a sense of worth and makes you strive harder to achieve.
