Drivers Ed Operating on a One-Hour Delay

Drivers Ed classes in Clarksville and Springfield will begin on a one-hour delay. Classes will start at 9:00 am on Saturday, February 20, 2021.

Offices Closed Due to Weather (02/19/21)

Governor Lee just announced the closure of state offices in middle and west Tennessee again tomorrow.  The American Job Centers and Workforce Essentials will be closed to in-person services on Friday, February 19, 2021.   However, our American Job Centers will be operating virtually to support your workforce needs.  Click here to access AJC virtual services at or call your local center at one of the numbers listed here.

All employees will be working virtual where possible.

Testing services are cancelled on Friday including drug and alcohol and HiSet.

Due to inclement weather, the offices of Workforce Essentials and the American Job Centers will be closed on Tuesday, February 16, 2021. However, virtual American Job Center services may be accessed at www.tnvirtualajc.com.

All testing services are cancelled on Tuesday, including drug & alcohol and HiSet.

OSHA COVID Citations Class Rescheduled

Due to inclement weather, the OSHA COVID Citations class scheduled for this afternoon (2/11/21) is rescheduled for February 23. Please check your email for more details.

The TTC Dickson’s Ashland City campus pinning ceremony was held on December 13, 2012, in Ashland City, with 20 individuals completing the program.  Seven of those pictured received assistance through the Cheatham County WIA program.

Springfield High JTG Students prepare for successful interviews

JTG students at Springfield High School have been studying how to prepare for a successful interview.  On November 15, they had the opportunity to practice these skills.  Representatives from WorkForce Essentials and Miller-Motte Technical College conducted mock interviews.
